Refund Policy

ANT UNITY SDN BHD (Registration No.: 202101008225 (1408524-P)) (“Ant Unity”) is a company duly incorporated under the laws of Malaysia and operating the Website known as antunity.com.my and Mobile Application known as “Antz”.

Please take note that this Refund & Cancellation Policy constitute a legally-binding agreement between you and Ant Unity and Ant Unity may modify, amend and/or change any part of our rights under these Refund Policy & Cancellation Policy without your consent or prior notice.

1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

  • “Account” means a registered account which you may be required to create if you wish to access and utilise the full facilities and features of the Website and/or Mobile App whether as a User or Service Professional;
  • “Booking Request” means the reservation made by a Customer via Mobile App for the Services Appointment which are to be carried out at the Service Location at the Scheduled Booking Time;
  • “Professional Cleaner” means such individual or entity that will be providing and/or performing the Services;
  • “Customer” means the user or individual that has made the Booking Request via Mobile App.
  • “Mobile App” means Ant Unity mobile phone application, namely “Antz”.
  • “Services Appointment” means the cleaning services appointment that the Customer has requested from the Mobile App and shall include any rectification services the Professional Cleaner may be requested to provide resulting out of a Customer Dispute in accordance with the terms of this Policy.
  • “Service Duration” means the estimated amount of time the Professional Cleaner will require to carry out the cleaning services in accordance with the booking request;
  • “Service Fee” means the total fee payable by the Customer for the Services;
  • “Service Location” means the address where the Services are to be carried out as identified in the Booking Request;
  • “Scheduled Booking Time” means the time and date the Services are to be undertaken by the Professional Cleaner in accordance with the Booking Request; and
  • “Website” means antunity.com.my

 

2. CANCELLATIONS OR AMENDMENT OF SERVICES APPOINTMENT

2.1 Subject to the approval of Ant Unity, the Customer shall be permitted to cancel, reschedule, modify or amend a Booking Request (including change of location of the Services Appointment) from the Mobile App without penalty, prior to Forty-Eight (48) hours before the Scheduled Booking Time. For avoidance of doubt, the refund will be processed within Two (2) weeks period from the date of submission of request and such refund shall be made in the form of coins, known as “Antz Coins” will be duly credited into your Account upon Ant Unity’s acceptance of cancellation of a Booking Request.

2.2 For cancellation, reschedule or amendment of a Booking Request made within and/or less than:-

  • Forty-Eight (48) hours from the Scheduled Booking Time (save and except for change of location of the Services Appointment), the Customer agrees and understands that there will be a penalty charges of Thirty percent (30%) from the payment made whereby the balance payment shall be refunded and credited into the Customer’s Account in the form of Antz Coins;
  • Twenty-Four (24) hour and/or Twelve (12) hours from the Scheduled Booking Time (save and except for change of location of the Services Appointment), the Customer agrees and understands that there will be a penalty charges of Fifty percent (50%) from the payment made whereby the balance payment shall be refunded and credited into the Customer’s Account in the form of Antz Coins.

2.3 For avoidance of doubt, if the Customer is desirous to change the Service Location, the Customer shall cancel the Services Appointment and thereafter to book and/or request for new Services Appointment (subject to availability) and the same shall subject to our cancellation policy as stated in Clause 2.1 and 2.2 above.

2.4 Please note that the cancellation/amendment channels will only be accepted if the same is made via the Mobile App. Cancellation/amendment via all other channels, are strictly not acceptable and no refund will be processed. This includes (but not limited to) comment on social media post, email, phone calls, direct message to the cleaner, WhatsApp message and/or SMS.

2.5 If the Customer is not present at the Service Location during the Scheduled Booking Time, the Booking Request shall deem to be cancelled by the Customer and no refund will be processed.

2.6 For clarification purpose, all refund requests will be processed within Two (2) weeks period from the date of submission of request and the refund shall be made solely in the form of Antz Coins (instead of cash) which you can redeem from the Mobile App for booking of the Services.

3. CANCELLATION OF BOOKED SERVICES BY THE PROFESSIONAL CLEANER

3.1 In the event the Professional Cleaner is unable to attend or fails to attend to an accepted Booking Request at the Scheduled Booking Time, the Customer may opt to change the Scheduled Booking Time or request for a refund within the Twenty-Four (24) hours period after the Scheduled Booking Time via Mobile App.

3.2 The Customer will not be entitled for a refund if the request is made after the Twenty-Four (24) hours period after the Scheduled Booking Time.
